A report produced by the Slovakia research team of the Global Media and Internet Research Project
This report from the Global Media and Internet Concentration Project analyzes how revenue and market concentration evolved in Slovakia’s media, internet, and telecommunications industries from 2019 to 2023. It examines telecommunications and internet access, online and traditional media, and core internet applications, assessing each sector’s scale, scope, and structure before combining them into an overall view of the Slovak network media economy. Using revenue as the main measure—supplemented by access data when needed—the study highlights trends in ownership, competition, and market share across these industries.
